ANEI Patient Safety Fellowship

3rd Annual Conference ANEICON

The Association of Nurse Executives (India) - ANEI offers a special educational program for its members( Eight deserving members)to enhance their knowledge in patient safety theory and practice. This fellowship, based on the World Health Organisation's Global Patient Safety Curriculum, is designed to develop future nurse leaders dedicated to patient safety. It is done in collaboration with the Patient Safety Movement Foundation (USA) - PSMF.

The program includes a year-long curriculum created by ANEI and PSMF. Fellows complete monthly readings on specific topics and participate in discussions about the theory, methods, and their practical applications. Fellows submit reflections on their learning, including a final reflection at the end of the fellowship.

Fellows also complete a hands-on improvement project focused on patient safety in their work environment. They present these projects at ANEI's annual patient safety conference held every September. In the second year, fellows mentor the next cohort of patient safety fellows. The program concludes with graduation after two years.
